Curriculum

The school has a well established tradition of academic excellence and the majority of pupils merit places in Universities, Training Colleges and Institutes of Technology. The School has enjoyed considerable success over the years in obtaining scholarships.

First Year students take the following subjects: 
Art, Business Studies, CSPE, Computers, English, French and/or German, Games, Geography, History, Irish, Materials Technology Wood, Mathematics, Physical Education, Religion, Science and Technical Graphics

Transition Year pupils are offered a broad curriculum that includes work experience, foreign trip with a view to optimising their personal development choices for Leaving Certificate

In Senior Cycle we offer a large range of subjects. The 18 subjects 
available are Accounting, Applied Maths, Art, Business, Biology, Chemistry, Construction Studies, Economics, English, French, Geography, German, History, Irish, Maths, Physics, Physics and Chemistry and Technical Drawing.

They are offered at ordinary and higher level.
