A visit to see the relics of Saint Carlo Acutis.
This morning, Ms Crowley’s Second Year Religion class had the opportunity to engage with living history during a visit to the Dominican Church, where they viewed the shrines of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Seeing his relics, including a lock of his hair and linen from his deathbed, offered students a powerful reminder that Christianity is not only something that is taught, but something that is lived through faith and example.
The visit encouraged students to reflect on the relevance of faith in everyday life, particularly through the story of a young person whose commitment to prayer, kindness, and service continues to inspire people around the world. It was a meaningful and reflective experience, allowing students to connect classroom learning with real-life expressions of belief and devotion.
